Imagine stepping out of your busy day to day life for just a few minutes. Seat yourself in a quiet, relaxing room and listen to a story of your choice. Inspired by the comfort of storytelling, I conceptualized Story Booth, a free standing structure that offers audio stories from real people. I envision Story Booth will be placed in high traffic areas that are easily accessible by foot, like airports, train stations, and shopping centers. Users can choose stories by duration and genre, ranging from uplifting to crime or emotional narratives. Braille as well as subtitles in multiple languages and for the hearing impaired are available.
